The transition between surfaces can make or break a design. If you watch closely to a random product you will find a finish that is specifically designed for that edge.
It occurred to me that the tools we use never give us the possibilities to make that edge exactly how we want it. For example a milling machine, the mills come only with a certain radius or angle. Never with a really smooth curve.
That conclusion was the beginning for the ideas for this project.
The idea is that you buy the set: “Edgy Sander” which is shaped to hold nicely with every hand from any position. Also the properties to align perfect with your edge and the quickly exchangeable sanding shapes by a simple snap by the magnets inside of it.
By 3D printing you are able to make custom sanding shapes.
Now you can make a personal finish for every edge
